Prof. Venkat Viswanathan
Asst. Prof. of Aerospace Engineering, University of Michigan.
Venkat Viswanathan is Cofounder and Chief Scientist of Aionics, as well as an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan. He is widely recognized as a world leader in the fields of electrochemistry, materials informatics, and electric aviation. He was named an MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35 in 2020, a recipient of the Office of Naval Research: Young Investigator Award in 2019, and an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow in 2018. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
