    Nii is an investor at OUP, a venture capital firm that specializes in funding university spinouts. He focuses particularly on identifying and investing in promising graduate students who are commercializing their research.

    Before joining OUP, Nii was a Principal at Solon Capital Partners, a venture firm that invests in emerging market opportunities across various industries, including EdTech, AgTech, and mobility.

    Nii has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, having held various management and technical roles at KLA in the US and ASML in the Netherlands. During his tenure, he collaborated with leading chip manufacturers such as Intel, Samsung, and TSMC to advance chip development technologies.

    In addition to his industry experience, Nii was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Physics at Cavendish Labs, University of Cambridge, where he conducted research on quantum phenomena in solid-state systems.

    Nii holds an MBA with a focus on Finance and Operations from The Wharton School and the Rotterdam School of Management. He also earned a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
